Bangalore's Carlton Towers fire kills nine - In Pictures


A major fire broke out on Tuesday in one of Bangalore's major business centres, the Carlton Towers. The building which is located on Bangalore's Old Airport Road is said to have caught fire due to a short circuit. Sources confirmed that Nine people died and 60 others were injured, many of them seriously in the incident.

According to sources, 6 people are said to have been killed in the incident after they jumped out of windows in order to escape the blaze.
