A high speed head-on crash between two cars on Mumbai's Bandra-Worli Sea Link left one person dead on Tuesday.
The accident occurred around 7:30 am when a car smashed into a taxi, killing its passenger sitting in the front seat. The drivers of both the cars suffered serious injuries.
The accident occurred on a stretch of the sea link where there is no lane divider. Traffic was quickly cleared and the mangled vehicles removed.
The Bandra-Worli Sea Link was inaugurated in June.
